Click to view our story of learning a new language. We each chose a language and put in the effort to learn that language. Our goal for the end of the semester was to be able to have a conversation about foods in the language that we chose. We completed this task to understand a little more about how difficult it can be to talk in a language that you are not completely familiar or comfortable with. Some of us have been learning the language we chose for more than this semester, which is more representative of immigrants that learn English at a younger age but do not put it into practice until they have to.
